The difference in the
thorny bush that I posted yesterday with the unwanted flower, and the
thorny bush I'm posting now. is the pink roses on this bush makes
hearts rejoice at their sight. They never let the sharp thorns hinder
their beauty. Yes, they are more fragile, and require more care, but
they deserve more attention since they are worth more than the
hard-headed, touch-me-not flower that only grows in dry places. They
both have their purpose in life, but it's correct to say that the
pink rose is much more desirable than the tiny red center in the
crown of thorns. Comparing the two types of flowers, am I saying that
God only made the rose, and Satan made the red-centered flower with a
crown of thorns? Absolutely not. God made them both, but He also made
disciples of good nature, and one of Satanic nature. (speaking of the
twelve Jesus chose to follow Him.) Judas, was the devil. John 6: 70,
King James Version. Why did Jesus chose a devil to be one of His
disciples? Because the plan of God had to be fulfilled. Jesus had to
die on the cross, and only a devil would dare bear that out. This
part of God's plan leaves many people in wonder. Are some humans
destined by God to be devils? This is the question that has been the
reason most of us who are Christians were paniced when we heard this
message, and immediately cried out to God for mercy. It takes a
fearful heart to be able to reach Jesus. The Word tells us fear is
the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 9:10. No matter how smart one may
think they are, only those who become as a little child shall be
saved. We must give our all to Him, and not just part. We must be
willing to die for Him, and tell Him so when we ask for forgiveness.
I may not be writing a love song here, but I am quoting Bible, the
very Words of Jesus. There is only one salvation, and that is through
the blood of Jesus Christ. It is not that easy to be saved like so
many people preach. The Word does say that those who believe on Jesus
shall be saved, but it also teaches the way one has to act before
they can fully believe on Him. We have to prove our sincerity by the
way we live.
I could say the lovely pink roses are the Christians who have been redeemed by God, and made beautiful. The not so pretty thorny flowers are those who have rejected Jesus, and listen to the evil voice that tells them they are the greatest. Their life is short, and hard to bear, but they never want to change. God is a miracle working God, and Jesus made it clear that when man can't understand something He tells them because of seemingly contradiction, God is there to work out any misunderstanding. It takes a sincere, fearful heart to reach the Spirit of God.
God Bless
