"Where Shall We Meet"

No doors to close here. We are lucky, 3-20-2020 Perryton, TX

An early afternoon chat between these two cuties. They are not worried about the corona virus, or about the market crashing. They know they will be fed whatever happens to the human race. How nice it must be to be a bird. However, I wouldn't trade places with them. I am happy to be me, and although I don't know what the future holds, I know who holds the future. I also know who holds my hand. This beautiful day is so encouraging it makes me want to go fishing. I dressed for that yesterday with my black hat and all, but it was too windy to go to the lake. I would not be in a crowd at the lake because the lake is a very large area. The deck I fish from never has over one or two people at a time. It is covered with a metal roofing, and has room for lawn chairs. Nothing could be more relaxing. I fish for crappie, and use minnows for bait. I have no trouble putting a minnow on my hook, but I won't touch a worm. Most of the time I do catch a few fish big enough to keep. I love to eat crispy, fried crappie. I have no problem cleaning them. If it stays nice for a few days, meet me at Lake Fryer. Bring a sandwich since the restaurant will probably be closed as most of them are.

I did a lot of visiting this morning with family members over the phone. At least we can still communicate with people outside our homes. All is well with them, and all have high spirits seemingly. We are a family who knows how to make a joke out of anything as long as we are well. That is something money can't buy, and money can't take away. We count our blessings in spite of great fear all over the world. I just must tell this bit of humor I heard this morning. My son-in-law has his own yard, and landscaping business. He has always had coffee every morning with fellow workers before they go to work. They have met at places like McDonald's, and other convenient stop ins. Now since all meeting places has closed to outside customers the guys had no place to meet, and they couldn't go to work without a cup of coffee, and a chat. They found that Albertson's had a few tables at their deli so they started meeting there. Then one morning the guys found all the chairs turned upside down on the tables. No more meeting there. So this morning one of the gang showed up at my daughter, and son-in-law's house for coffee. My daughter said yes, we are open, but no more than 10 people. Where there is a will there is a way. If life gives you lemons make a pie, and that's not just for the birds.

God Bless
Myrtle Jean Sharp
