"Welcome Spring To My Yard"

Plum blossoms appeared overnight. Tomorrow the entire tree will be white. 3-12-2020 Perryton, TX

Just over night these plum blossoms burst open. Hello spring, and good-bye winter. For awhile at least my mind has escaped the crashing stock market. I needed that to happen badly. If we all lose our money we will at least have fruit to eat. Plus all the beauty of lovely flowers, and roses. Suddenly I feel so energetic, and want to spread some joy around my weather-worn yard. I'm now reaching for the rake, hoe, and pitch fork. Must shop for some heavy, padded gloves since my hands will be removing wire fence around some of my flower gardens, and pulling up steel stakes. I refuse to mess up my finger nails, and skin up my smooth hands. I trust the corona virus germ won't blow over in my yard. The way the media is exaggerating anything is possible.

It's hard to stay out of trouble when so many people on the internet are in such panic mode. I am one to determine to comment when I disagree with outrageous accusations about our wonderful President. So far I have not been too beaten up, but I expect it anytime. We cannot be soldiers for God without risking our lives. I do not even want to injure anyone, but we must protect our President. I am praying for healing for this whole nation. What a shame we have to fight each other. Our Heavenly Father will judge us all according to our deeds. He always gets it right. Since we are all humans we automatically have human fear, but it usually don't last but momentarily. It's those who cause the fear that get scared the worst. Since I am human I have to feel good about that. Oh my! We naughty children of Father God.

I'm staying home this evening instead of going to the “breakfast at night” at the Center. I thought it more important to get back to my writing since I have missed several days lately. I didn't get home from work till 4:30 p. m. so I didn't have time to write this blog before getting ready for the breakfast. My heart will be there because I know it will be nice. Hopefully I will be able to attend the luncheon tomorrow. I won't be going to work then. I guess that means before, and after lunch I will be watching, and fearing the stock market is going to crash. Although, I have prepared myself for whatever happens. We only need to worry about our souls when we leave this old world. And however God sees fit to take us, we should be happy to go. I trust Him with all my heart. He has never let me down yet. Thank you Lord for joy, peace, and happiness.

God Bless
Myrtle Jean Sharp
