"A Tear-some Day Gone Happy Day"

More precious memories. A china cabinet full of them. 10-4-2018 Perryton, TX

Yesterday and today I have been on this “precious memory journey.” I posted two of my favorite gifts of love from family yesterday. Today I am posting a china cabinet full of them. Most everything in this display cabinet was given to me. I have china, sliver, crystal, and a few other desirable gifts given to me over the years by my deceased husband. I have a few lovely gifts that were given to my mother and I inherited when she passed. I have a few items from several friends, and relatives, that came from their own treasures, and were given to me by their inheritors. There are many tiny, precious pieces that were given to me by children and grandchildren. Also a few very old antiques that I collected myself at estate sales. This large lighted cabinet is a focal piece in my home, and I can't take it to heaven with me. I doubt that any of my children or grandchildren would want the things in it. We are living in too fast of times, and a drastic change of what's important in our lives as to in my times. Modern is what it's all about now. I cannot stand the modern trend. I like the days of old, and the people who molded my life to what it is today. That's not to say I don't enjoy all these latest inventions that I use every day, but I just don't like the change in style, and taste. I am so at piece just being the same ole me that I have been all my life. That's why I'm having trouble forgiving the evil minded people who do not care one ounce about falsely accusing an innocent, Godly person, and destroying their lives. Too me it's as bad as murder, but those people don't even have a speck of shame. Our world is now about to change everything that the bible declares sin, and turn it into a living hell. God forbid.

If God be for us who can be against us?” I will never give into that evil change that has made our world like a living hell. I believe the people who hang onto the old time teaching of the Word of God will come forth as gold. Those who have been guilty of helping to destroy God's chosen people will probably go to the bottomless pit. That's what I believe the Word of God declares. I also believe declaring insanity will not help them in the end. They had a choice of living a clean, decent life, but chose otherwise. The wages of sin is death. It comes from refusing to live by God's word. God does forgive, but the consequences are permanent. We have to live with our mistakes, but more sadly most people don't even admit to making mistakes. They keep right on making the same mistakes. Even increasing them day by day. The pit gets deeper and deeper. “Seek and ye shall find. Ask and ye shall receive.”

"Show Me The Money And I Will Show You God"

When God closes one door He opens another. The verse on plate.  10-3-2018 Perryton, TX

Every day I'm at home I read the verse on this plate at least a dozen times. It sits on a table in my living room near my recliner. The cross with the purple bow stands beside it, and both were given to me by special people. Both of these precious emblems were given to me at, or near the time I lost my husband. The verse on the plate reads, “When God closes one door He opens another.” A gift from my daughter. Just one of many she has chosen over the years to give to a mother she loves. The cross is a reminder that Heaven has been offered to us if we chose to follow Christ. Both gifts are inexpensive, but they are priceless to me. I can't take them with me when I'm called to my eternal home, but I believe the memories will go with me. “Thank you Lord for your many blessings.

At this time I feel as if I am being deprived of the most valuable thing I possessed. The peace, and contentment that have been my daily breath for many years. My life was changed from quick temper, and a desire for vengeance when I met Jesus. I learned to turn the other cheek as was described in God's word. I never again wanted to fight back. I have always been blessed for my refusal to take matters into my own hand. However, I am now having thoughts of defending my Lord and Savior when I see the multitudes of people trashing Him. Yes, when I see good, Godly people being treated like I am seeing now, I feel compelled to step up, and speak out. This is not about me, it's about our God, and his love for all people. But according to Isaiah 63: 4-6, There does come a time to let our fury unfold.

Isaiah 63:4. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed has come, And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me, And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth. I will mention the loving-kindness of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he hath bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving-kindness.

I believe the time is now as to what this scripture is talking about. President Trump made Jerusalem the Capital of Israel. Both Palestine and Israel claimed the capital of Israel. As a result many lives were lost over the dispute. I also believe God grafted the gentiles into the Israelite family, therefore The Christians of today are fighting for Israel. I might say the rest of the people are Palestinians, This war we're fighting now is between good, and evil. The evil being the rejected people that God gave their land to Israel.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, but I am trying to get it straight. Does everyone need to fight against evil when they are forced to?

"Ready For Another Trip"

New P J's for my next trip. Baby blue with comfortable move-about space. 10-2-2018 Perryton, TX

I wasn't looking for pajamas when I saw this baby blue, soft-cotton blend set with bell bottom legs. I knew at that moment I could fall asleep the minute I put them on. I was thinking about my next trip, so I proudly put them in my cart. I haven't decided yet where I will be going as I have two or three options on the table. Some people may think this odd, but I love pretty, comfortably sleep wear. What I call pajamas some people would call lounging sets, but I only change into one outfit when I get to my motel room before going to bed. And that is almost immediately. My friends, whoever they may be with me, like to do the same thing. We love our dream outfits, and we have no trouble going to sleep.

I am still doing yard work getting ready for winter. Today I pulled up dead grass, and raked the ground till I was wet with sweat. My finished job looked nice, but I not much more than made a showing. I am very careful not to overdue, but I will complete the job before I quit. I feel like this is good exercise, and I really want to stay fit. So I like a clean yard, and a fit body to express my thanks to God. By-the way I was working in Chuck's yard, not my own. My own yard will not require so much work, since I do have a yard man hired. My son is disabled, and cannot afford to hire all of his work done. At this time I feel ten years younger than when I started working in Chuck's yard this morning. Not to mention how productive I feel. Tomorrow I will go to lunch with friends at the Center, and feel like a million dollars.

I have no less than a dozen things on my to do list for tomorrow. Um, I'd rather work in the yard, but these other things are more important than making a yard look nice. I take time to be my own secretary, treasure, manager, finance director, mother, grandmother, church attender, political member, and many more. I love my life with all it's duties, and I never want to slow down. Just give me a few Tylenol pills, and I can stand the rest of the pain. I would not be alive if I did not feel pain. My bed, and those pretty pajama are the best pain killers I know of. I just can't wear them 24 hours a day. Only when I start moving my arms and legs does the pain began. I know you won't believe this, but working in the yard causes no pain, it just gives me out pretty quick. And when I sit in the recliner, I have to endure some pain. It makes me appreciate Jesus more because I think about His awful pain every day. I'm glad I feel others pain as well as my own. Thank you Jesus.

"Happy Anxious And positive"

Front yard white mums and roses are looking pretty. 10-1-2018 Perryton, TX

How proud I am of my fall flowers. They are starting to look pretty, and add interest to my front yard. I sat out on my front porch and feel blessed to have fresh smelling flowers around me. The cool evening breeze makes for a relaxing, and enjoyable, quite evening. I wave at my neighbors as they pass by. Sometimes we meet each other to chat a bit. I do have wonderful neighbors. After living in this house for fifty years it does seem like home. After living here that long several different neighbors have occupied the houses. In a two block area I am the only one who is the original builder of my house, and they were all built about the same time. All four of my children graduated from high school just across the street from me. This place is also home to them. Thank you Lord for so many good memories. By the time I am ready to retire for the day I am anxious for a new tomorrow. It's like the drama continues, and there will probably never be an end till God unleashes His anger. I can go to sleep without any kind of sleeping pill, but It does take a great while. I don't want anything erased from my mind, but I do try to mostly think upon the good things as God asked us to. I awake every morning feeling refreshed, and ready to face the new day.

I pretty much have a daily routine that makes me happy, because I can feel useful, and helpful. Sometimes I have to push myself to do the jobs I feel important, but most of the time I get them done. I never fail to pray and read a chapter in the bible every night if I am at home. Even when I'm extremely tired, I won't miss this important, special time to thank God, and read His message to me for the next day. Nothing else I do is more rewarding than this time of reverence to my Lord. It puts a smile on my face, and a song in my heart. Lately I have been feeling a lot of anger to the evil side of our nation's population, but I ask God each night to use me the way He wishes. I know sometimes we have to take a stand against evil if we want to keep our Christian privileges. I believe God expects that of us. Thank God for the Supreme Court nominee who has used his Godly power to rebuke the evil few who are the devil's advocate, and are trying with all their might to overthrow our government. A few more who have also faced the evil opposition of those refusing to confirm this great, Godly, Judge need to be praised also. It's time to face the modern day giant. His life is about to end, and what a thrill that will be to the believers of God who have been praying none stop. I don't know about you, but I don't plan to miss any of this exciting, fierce battle that will bring victory to all who love God and country. Praise the name of God.
