"What The Heck"

A little unbalanced above the eyes, but thank God, not the head. 3-7-2018 Perryton TX

The primaries are over in Texas, and I am excited about the results. Most of the candidates I voted for won their contest. One of my choices lost as was expected, because of a late decision to enter the primaries. I believe my second choice will win by a majority in the run offs. We have the general election coming up, but maybe we can survive the suspense. One thing I am sure of, God is in control, and whatever happens will be because of his will. I also believe every registered voter should vote in an election. It’s been said, if you don’t vote then keep your mouth shut when things happen that you don’t like. I agree with that statement.

Nothing can be more rewarding than to accept the results of an election with a good attitude. That is what so many Americans are lacking in. All games are going to have winners and losers because that is what makes life worth living for. I’m glad we still have a right to use our voices. Many countries do not have this privilege. That right also, is one that has to be fought for. Nothing in this world is free if it’s worth having. Those who have everything given to them will have no victory. I can truly say in all the past elections this past year or so be it Presidential, Congressman. Representative, Governor, or any other, I have worked diligently to help my choice of candidate win. Not all have been winners, but all in all we true, honest, Americans are supported by a higher power who knows our heart. I declare victory in every type of situation. Now on to the luncheon where I spend a lot of time. My soul mates mean more to me than any political victory.

My life is speeding up and it may be a good thing, even though I’m retired. I have accepted more responsibility than I planned, but like I said work is always rewarding though we be retired. I have great ambitions, but without work they cannot be accomplished. As long as I am ambitious, and cheering myself on, I will never die of boredom. I love, love doing the things I enjoy. Pleasure is high on that list of priorities. Without it my other duties would fail. I have a balance scale, and I keep it even. It’s time for a friend, and I, to go on a pleasure trip right away. It could be called a celebration trip, because I have used my voice to hack a few people off. That is a troublesome effort, but one that requires discipline when enough is enough. I go to celebrate my authoritative  opinion, which I believe is a God-given, gift. I owe myself a reward for using it. I don’t often do this, and I think I have failed God many times because of it. My love remains strong for all my disagreeables. I just don’t want to be thought of as agreeing with them.  The difference of opinions will resolve themselves when God see fit.

"From The Heart Of This Church Speaks Beauty"

Beautiful pathway at church in Gainesville, Texas. Across the street from where my son lived. 3-5-2018 Perryton, TX

Some places are worth remembering. I was visiting my son and daughter-in-law in Gainesville, Texas in the summer of 2014.  Directly across the street from their house was this big church building with an acre of beautiful landscaped yard. A wide cement path curved in and out all around the church block. Gorgeous blooming trees, and flowers decked the edges of the pathway. Joining the church ground to the west was an very old cemetery with new graves still being dug. This was the biggest, and the most interesting graveyard I had ever visited. It gave you a pleasant feeling to stroll around and read the headstones. It was well kept, and showed to be of wealthy people. I spent a couple of hours there before getting tired and walking back to the house. I ran onto this picture I had taken while there, and thought I needed to post something more pleasant than “war in the sky,” which was my blog today. A peaceful bit of scenery sure helps the worried mind to relax somewhat. I will hold dear these memories of  Gainesville, Texas where my son and family lived for several years. They have since advanced to higher, and more rewarding responsibilities, but they will never forget their time spent in Gainesville. Their two children graduated high school there.

What is life without God? Troubles and trials, and hard to endure the wasteful days. I see this happening all around me, and it makes me so sad, even though I have the sweetest peace on earth. Like our Rev. Billy Graham I want every person in the world to have peace just like me. Jesus gave His life that we may have peace, but many will never be free from deep depression. They don’t know how to escape the trap they made for themselves. Neither will they allow others to open the door. They are trapped, body, mind, and soul. They even believe others are trapped, and they are the free ones.

How does this second paragraph correlate with the first, you may ask. It just shows how beautiful one’s life can be if they truly want to work the grounds, and water the living things that gives beauty, The body must be kept whole without spot or blemish. It is the Temple of the Lord. The heart must be kept clean because “from the heart comes beauty.” God’s word declares this.  Also “from the heart the mouth speaketh.”  It’s not what goes in one’s mouth that makes them dirty, but what comes out. I am so ashamed at some of the language I read on face book. God is deeply offended by this, and I wish I could help stop the filth that children are exposed to. I don’t expect to live as long as Rev. Billy Graham did, but God help me to stay as true as did this Saint of God. That’s asking for a lot, but I so wish.

"Looks Like War In The Sky"

It looks like war in the sky this morning. 3-5-2018 Perryton, TX

What is happening in the sky this morning? I got a picture of part of the jet streams, but not all. I had never seen so many, at one time, so close together. The closest I live to a large airport is 140 miles. With all the tension building up every day about powerful missiles, and threats to use them, I think it is normal for people to stay alarmed. At least I am taking nothing as “bully talk.” I won’t be one of those people who say, “well there’s nothing I can do about it.” There is something all of us can do, and we better start confessing. We can get our heads out of the sand, and acknowledge that times are darker now than they have ever been since America was discovered. The civil war that is brewing now, will make the last one look like peanuts. It will include not only American fighters within, but world wide enemy countries who are just waiting for their chance to whip them all. A divided America cannot win a world-wide war. It’s time to take a stand against disgusting, sinful acts against our God. I will no longer turn my head from the evil I have tolerated for so long. Some of you can already vouch for that. I am sorry to have to abandon some of you, but you did not heed the warnings I presented to you directly from God’s Word. I have chosen this day whom I will serve. I will no longer be a spaghetti-type servant, but will be as stiff as a poker about my belief. No more compromising. I truly believe God will not always strive with man, Genesis 6:3. There is only one way to be happy. That is to surrender your life to God. He will guide you, but He will not force you to follow Him. If you are now a Satan follower, you must bid him farewell, and be willing to pay the price he will put on you. He is never nice.

With all my blasting evil, and warning against war-times this morning, I still am bubbling with joy. My sins are covered by His blood, and nothing can ever take that away from me. Jesus paid the price for all our sins, but Satan refuses to let us go without a fierce battle with him. The battle is not ours, but Gods, but can you believe that with Satan telling you differently? You must, must, believe or you will be lost forever. Belief in Jesus is the simple, magic word that will forever give you happiness, and prosperity. There is no half-way. It’s all the way or nothing. Can I depend upon you to take this message serious, and join hands with Jesus? Please let me know how you feel, be it agreeable, or disagreeable. You will always be in my prayers.

God Bless
