"The Pride Of America Is Growing"
I got this personally
signed photograph in the mail today of President Donald Trump and
First Lady, Melania. I truly feel honored to get so many nice things
from them when I do such little to support them. I certainly am not a
big financial contributor, but I do give them internet support almost
daily. I believe the biggest reason I get so much attention from them
is because God has given them my name for being a prayer warrior, and
an enemy fighter in their behalf. I clearly speak out about the
RINO's (Republicans in name only,) as well as the liberal Democrats
who constantly are trying to remove President Trump from office. They
are so absurd not to realize that the God of the universe is
protecting him from their evil desires. A great change is taking
place in America as well as all over the world. Confusion is flooding
the geographical dialects of all mankind. We are vastly being changed
into one world ideas, and dictators. I am not sure how far this
effort will go, nor how long it will last, but without President
Trump it wouldn't be long. I have heard some of our strongest
interpreters of the bible as well as the knowledgeable professors of
world history declare that if President Trump is defeated in the next
election America will never be a great nation again. I am wondering
if there are enough dedicated Christians to please God when deciding
what to do with such a backsliding nation. That is the atomic bomb
God will use when destroying the flames of hell that have engulfed
the outer world. Christians need to realize that God is real, and He
still holds the world in the palm of His hand.
It was back to lunch at the Center for me today. I had missed several times, and today I said enough is enough. Nothing was going to stop me, not even laziness. I enjoyed every minute I was there. The seniors, and younger people also, are best to none. It is a respectable place, and everyone tries to look their best when attending the luncheons. You must not go in your pajamas, and not comb your hair. That is a big task for me to overcome. Home is so comfortable, and if you don't look in the mirror you are perfectly satisfied with your looks. Also the news is promising to give something interesting if you wait long enough. What a variety of choices we have. But when we do decide to crawl into the bath tub, go through our closet and find something suitable to wear, put the makeup on, and fix the hair so no bald will show, we are one proud made-up lady for about an hour. Then we come home and change back into something suitable for painting, or working in the yard. We don't want to be seen the rest of the day. Well, well, I wonder what it will be like in heaven.

"I'm Walking Straight Today"
The sun was peeping
through this tree while it slowly moved toward the ground. Another
hot, late summer, day is about to end. I will never have another day
like today, but not saying I won't have one worse than this one. I
mentioned a few days ago how I had worked so hard to make an apple
tree straighten up. It was not a large tree, but it was growing bent
over almost to the ground. I felt so proud of myself when I finally
got an iron pole driven in the ground, and with a stout wire pulled
the tree almost straight, and tied it to the pole. I could already
see a pretty, straight, apple tree next spring. This was Chuck's
tree, and he had planted it a few years ago, but never took care of
it. Since he had ordered the tree from some grafting place it was
suppose to bear a special kind of fruit that nobody around here had.
It did produce a few apples a time or two, but didn't have any this
year. The apples that did come on it were not what I would call a
good tasting apple. They did seem crossed with some other kind of
fruit. So I decided to fertilize it, keep it watered good, straighten
it, and see what happened next year. I was expecting a super kind of
apple that would make everyone ask, “what is this?” What a let
down today. I decided to tighten the wire a little more today. I
pulled the four or five inch trunk as hard as I could when snap. I
landed on the ground backwards so hard till the next door neighbor
who was in her shop heard a commotion, and came over to see what
happen. I had already gotten up, but she was alarmed at the loud
sound. At the very bottom of the tree was a perfect brake with no
green showing at all although, the branches had nice green leaves,
and looked healthy. Was I a dumb butt, or did this tree live and grow
without any sap? I went in the house to tell Chuck what happened,
and he so intelligently explained that it was a grafted tree. What
did that mean? I didn't ask, but he was not upset for me braking his
special little apple tree . I am still trying to figure that one out.
I have been reading in the bible about Gentiles being grafted into the Israelite family, and wondering just what it meant. Are we Gentiles dead to whatever we used to be, and subject to break if pressured too hard? I am very unlearned about the nature of how God created, and recreated His people. I am always so quick to quote the scripture that says, “it is not meant for us to know the mysteries of God.” I believe my son, Chuck, could tell me a lot, but he chooses not to talk about the bible. Anyway I am so thankful that God protected me again, and I was not injured at all, although the fall I took aroused the neighbor who was working in her shop several yards from where I fell. There is no fence between us so she came sailing right over. I plan to someday ask Chuck what he meant when he explained to me that the tree was grafted. Obviously he though I would know why the tree broke smack into near the top of the ground when he told me it was grafted.

"I Deserve A Break From Work I Said"
Today is Labor Day, and most everything is closed in Perryton, Texas. I wouldn't be going anywhere anyway, but I feel sad that there is no place to go if I should decide. When my mood kicks in I don't want anything to stop it. And it does change a lot. I don't think I will change my mind about going to the Grand Opening of the Golden Mesa Casino in Guymon, Oklahoma on the 12 of this month, (Sept.) It's just 50 miles, and a lot of folks from Perryton plan to go. We are such an isolated place on the map till we feel so blessed to have an entertainment center so close. We have waited for over five years for this facility to happen, but finally it did. It took an act of Congress to get it all approved, including the land. It's a large building with lots of game machines to choose from. It will continue to build, and add more accommodating features until it is a best to none in the Panhandle. By next spring I may not have either time nor desire to raise flowers. Ha, ha. Seriously I do think many seniors will be so pleased to have a relaxing, affordable place to spend a lot of time, and forget all the problems America is now facing. This Casino is meant to fit the little gambler's pleasure as well as the big ones. Like those who receive $10. to $15 of free play money from the Casino. The penny machines are there to be their company. Most Casino's have free drinks for your own helping, or brought to you if you desire. Coffee or fountain drinks. Membership is free, and drawings as well as complementary gifts are a bonus. It is my pleasure to invite you there since I have been selected by the Casino to do so.
