"Know That I Am The Sun Of God"
At 39 degree this morning in Perryton, Texas, the sun was trying to take control. 1-7-2018 Perryton, TX
After a few days of nice weather we Texans are now enduring cold, windy, and cloudy days. At 9:00 this morning I got a shot of the sun trying to come out, but it didn’t stay long. The sky is hazy now, and it’s still cold. I am set for spending the day at home, drinking coffee, and reading a book. I still have sunshine in my heart although it may not be so outside. I am sure if things get too bad for me Jesus will come walking on the water. I have to be thankful for the minor storms that do happen in my life. They could be much more disastrous. One thing we can be sure of is the peace, and calm after the storm is over. Life has it’s frightening moods, it’s boredom moods, then it’s glorious moods. I can wait for the last. They are certain.
The first Widow, and Widower’s meeting for the new year was last night. It started off to a good, enthusiastic, evening of humor, and thanksgiving. Everyone is expecting another blessed year. The oldest person there was 89, and we were all left in awe when she told us her age. She would pass for 70. That alone gave a lot of us more hope for a blessed new year. All birthdays are honored at the meetings as they become applicable. No one is asked to give their age, but it seems as though everyone is eager to do so. It could be that these seniors have graduated to the highest ranks in life. Thank God for His loving, protecting hand on each one. I must make a correction. I remember the oldest person there is in her nineties, I believe 93. She also looks younger, but does have the help of a cane. The 89 year old looks like she could win a foot race. God is also blessed to have this group of loving men, and women, to be a Christ-like example for the younger set.
I would like to say, “Thank you” to all my readers in other countries. The list is growing daily, and I hope I can be a blessing to you all. I am aware of some of the difficulties in your countries. I have everyone of you on my prayer list. God is with you just like He is with America. Even though we cannot communicate with each other, I see your visit to my blog daily. You can rest assured that my God is your God, and He is guiding you just like He is me. Never, never give up, even though some of you may have been cut off from my blogs for awhile, God got you back on. He never fails, and I will never fail to pray for you. However dark the clouds may get, the sun is always shinning somewhere. It will shine on you in due time.
God Bless

"I've Never Let Go"
Myrtle Jean and Charles Sharp with grandson, Arron Twilligear, learning to walk. Picture taken in 1980. Read my reason for putting it on. 1-6-2018 Perryton, TX.
Quite often we are criticized for who we are, or what we do, but I will always be what God made me to be in spite of everything I have to deal with. I can’t even compare my criticism to that of Jesus all the years He lived on earth. I’m glad to be given the strength to take whatever beatings I must take in order to follow God’s request of me. Of my own will I would never do some of the things I do, but, “ it’s not my will, but thine be done.”
This little grandson I have posted a picture of is now 39 years old. He is very precious to me. He has a beautiful wife, and a very pretty, sweet little girl after waiting nearly ten years for her. He has a good job of several years, but is now seeking to change to another job preference. In his early teen-age years, he developed a growth on one of his ear drums. The diagnosis was to remove the tumor, but it would probably cause loss of hearing in that ear. His parents made the decision to have it removed. He did lose his hearing in that ear, and probably because of the surgery the other ear was affected some. The child did very well all of his teen years and graduated from college. Luckily he was accepted with a state agency that required first class physical, and mental abilities. He has been with that job for several years, but would now like to changes directions. He has applied for the new choice of job but has not been so lucky to be accepted. He has not been told exactly why, but the thought is it’s probably to do with his hearing. He has always been a very hard, dependable worker, and trusts God for all his needs. He and his lovely wife trusted God for several years before they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl.
I am now taking a bold step in asking God to grant my grandson his request for this job he has his heart set on. I understand that God knows best, but I also understand that God can remove every obstacle. He can also supple anything that my grandson may be lacking in order to qualify for this job. The bible says “Let your request be known.” I’m letting this request be known, and I will notify everyone when it is fulfilled. It may take some time for God to do all He needs to do, but I will wait without any doubt that He will answer this request. It might not even be the exact job my grandson wants, but if not it will be something he will like even better. May I have your prayers to ask God for this miracle? The word tells us “the prayer of faith shall heal the sick.” We never know when several are praying just whose faith touched God. That is why all believers of God are bound together in one faith. Miracles are still happening every day. If you don’t believe just look at the President we now have as commander-in-Chief. And look at the obstacles that God has to remove every day.

"A Mystery In The Sky"
This afternoon the wind was barely turning the little green pinwheel. The temperature was warm enough to be out in short sleeves. I took a picture of the pinwheel as it slowly turned wishing I would have had a moving camera. When I downloaded the picture to my computer I noticed something in the sky that I didn’t see when I took the picture of the pinwheel. It is to the left and looks like a plane with smoke coming from behind. I can see a red object, and I am baffled at what this is. If anyone can figure out what it is please let me know. Even politics don’t make me as troubled as this sky object does. It is too low to be a big jet, and not high enough to be one. I’m dying to know what the thing is. I hope everyone will enlarge this object so it can be better examined. Don’t bother to let me know if I am really that dumb. The pinwheel was suppose to be the subject of my story today. It just got robbed. Was this an accident or intentional by some other source?
The Senior Citizen luncheon was interesting today as well as offering a good meal. I believe this new year is going to bring our members closer together than ever. It just seems like the air is fresher, and the people more frisky. I didn’t see a mystery object in the building, but that’s not to say there wasn’t one. Some very funny remarks just seemed to be released without any effort, or purpose. I may have to get hearing aids yet so I won’t miss anything. Oh, how I love those seniors.
I know this blog is a switch from yesterday when I was terribly upset about one of the President’s first advisors turning the game on him. I thought to myself, and maybe let some of you know also, that this guy needs to be jailed. There is not a word to describe the evil, power-hungry man he is. I’m thinking, “OMG, am I dreaming this.” This man had to have had bad intentions from the start. He was a hypocrite, or I might say a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Like the red object with smoke from the exhaust escaping, just a little above the ground in my backyard, I am puzzled at what this evil man really is up too. I won’t let it pass without keeping my aim on him daily. He can be taken down by the power of our God. This is not a fiction show. It is very much real, and everyone needs to realize it. For everyone reading this please don’t take your focus off, “Make America Great Again.” We can help do it, and we are going to do it. “President Trump, you have our backs. If you become too weak to hold up your arms toward heaven we will hold the up for you.” Exodus 17-12.
