"More Of Yesterday"

Use less the flowers that you give after the soul is gone. 10-8-2019 Perryton, TX

Another view of the lovely yellow flowers that captured my eyes yesterday. How outstanding they appeared in a not so pretty yard. A yard where you would least expect pretty flowers. Somehow these pretty flowers gave me a different feeling about the people living in the older, smaller, almost yard-less house. Evidently the occupants of this property are some of those who say, “give me the flowers while I live, trying to cheer me on. Useless the the flowers that you give after the soul is gone.” How true this verse is. Flowers are a symbol of love, and they mean a lot to people who are struggling with life. but they mean nothing to the flesh after it has ceased to live. Some people find it soothing to take pretty flowers to the graves of their loved ones often. I cannot get any comfort for doing that. I would rather shed tears when I visit the graves. It seems to make me believe that my loved ones somehow know that I wish I had given them more flowers while they lived. Not only the red, yellow, pink, or white pedals, but the hugs, and kisses that I failed to give enough of. The words of love that somehow never got spoken. The appreciation I failed to show for all the love my loved ones showed me. So now when I see beautiful flowers, I am always reminded of my failures to my precious deceased ones. The flowers help to cheer me on even if they are living in someone's yard. Their beauty is there for a reason, and they do not have to be presented to anyone. “Thank you Lord for new strength every day to carry on with this burdensome life.”

At the end of my work day I am feeling eager to take in the luncheon at the Center tomorrow. I can't wait to smile, and even laugh, with sweet friends whom I haven't seen in a few days. I know they have lots of interesting things to share. They are the flowers without pedals that cheer me on. I trust I can be a pedal-less flower to them. I will have to visit my home beauty shop for some needed fixing up, but to tell the truth I'm looking forward to that. I must add a special touch of sweet fragrance so I can smell like a real flower. So far age, or ego hasn't wilted me much. I am one of the many in our group who will not allow that to happen. We all know how blessed we are. Not that we never have any trials to go through, but to know we always have a fair judge who is the fairest of them all. If we are naughty we are punished for it, but never to the extent of losing our faith. The punishment is lighter than we deserve sometimes, but This Judge knows our hearts. We invite you to join our flower garden.

"Flowers For The Master's Bouquet"

October flowers a real life still thriving. How do we compare? 10-7-2019 Perryton, TX

I just got my beauty shot for the day. On my way home from the post office I saw these gorgeous flowers, and had to stop and take a quick shot. There are not many pretty flowers left this late in the season, and I have to admire the magic touch some people seem to have when seeing lovely flowers like this in October. They do strike a joyful note in my heart which gives me reason to believe my prayers have been answered again. I felt such an urge to pray this morning about something I believe was critical to call upon God. I do feel much better now.

I am writing a passage of scripture for someone, though I know not who, but I trust they will be reading my blog today. Paul is saying to the Galatians brethren chapter 5-10,”I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.” Paul is speaking to those who are still into partly believing the law. He is telling them they are no longer under the law but, “brethren ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.” We are not bound to the law since Christ died for our redemption. We are free to trust God, and Him only, for our decisions pertaining to the faith. Those who try to stop us will bear his judgment. God's Word.

The flesh does bare pain, and we are all still in the flesh, but God knows all about our pain, and will heal it while He inflicts those who caused it. Even Jesus felt forsaken for a time when He was being crucified, but He still refused to be defeated. Yes, we will feel defeated from time to time, but never forget Paul”s words, “He that troubleth you shall bear his judgment.” “Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord.” We may not always be where we want to be, or doing what we want to do, but it is always better to be where God put us than where He did not want to keep us. I respect His authority, and am glad to feel loved by Him. I do not believe we are suppose to hand Satan our pocket books, and say it's yours for what ever you want to do with it. I believe we must answer to God for what kind of stewardship's we are. Again we are living under faith, and not under law. If we must take a stand to that effect, then God bless the stewards that do so. We cannot stay as babies always drinking milk. The Word teaches us to grow in the Spirit, and eat the meat for our strength. It doesn't matter if you are ninety year old, you may still be living by the milk of babes. I have seen this with my own eyes. “Be ye strong in the Lord, and stand up for His respect.

"Blowing My Trumpet Loud And Clear"

This Perryton Ranger football stadium is the target of a war starting up about taking down America. 10-6-2019 Perryton, TX

I'm writing today about a matter that concerns me a lot. This past Friday was the Perryton Ranger's football team's Homecoming. I live across the street from the football field. Perryton was playing Pampa in this game. Homecoming games always draws a big crowd, but never have I seen a crowd this great. I feel safe in saying there were twice as many fans at this game than any game before. I didn't see the game, but I had to drive through the unbelievable traffic going to my son's house. I committed to Chuck about such a large crowd, without any reason for it other than homecoming.

The following day I was to hear some news that along with many others, gave us reason to understand. A pre-game pep rally was held, and several large Mexican flags were carried in that rally. I'm writing what I heard, not seen, but it was news on several news television stations, and radio stations. I read that the American flag along with the flag pole had been removed and replaced with the Mexican flag. Some of us think this might explain why so many people were at this game. This was a pre-planned rally with much announcement having been given to surrounding areas, and many Mexican supporters came to support. Here is the shocking news. The high school Superintend had previously, overwhelmingly, encouraged the students to carry out this demonstration. He is not Hispanic, therefore it is hard to understand why he would do this. The Superintend said the Mexican students were celebrating their KAMR, and had a right to do so. He said they did nothing wrong. On the contrary many respectable American Perrytonites were up in arms. One radio announcer here said it was dis respectable to America to allow something like this. He also said he was being called a racist now, but said “give me a break, I nave three children who are one-half Mexican. It's not about race, but respect.” I agree with this radio announcer 100 percent. The school statistics show that 75 percent of the students are Hispanics.

Our President Trump is fighting day, and night to keep America the greatest nation in the world, but unless you and I who agree with him decides to do more to help him, it is a done deal. America is lost forever. The odds are very much against us. Although we do believe that God is on our side, and with His help we shall recapture America. I am calling all prayer warriors to answer the plea from God to trust, and never doubt his Word. No weakling has a good enough excuse not to vote. If you are handicapped all you need to do is call a precinct worker, and someone will pick you up, otherwise you will have played right into the hands of the evil demons. Yes, your vote is important. God is keeping a record.
