"Alley Lawn Chairs Sounds Exciting"
After 4 days of heavy road equipment working on my alley It looks nice. 3-7-2019 Perryton, TX
What an improvement to my
alley after four days of heavy road equipment working on it. I'm
actually proud of it now. No grass and weeds growing in the center of
the ruts. No high edge separating my alley grass from the caliche
road. It will be easier to mow now. It's a blessing I never expected.
What else is in store for me? I will be anxiously waiting. It is also
a very nice day today. I love being outside on days like this.
I came home from work today in a good mood. Not even tired, or wanting to just recline. I hope this is an everlasting mood, as I have had so many bad moods lately. How good it feels to have things that I'm looking forward to. Most of all is getting my yard to looking good. It's a big job, but today I feel like I could do heaps of raking, and carrying off dead leaves, and flower stalks. My day was too far gone when I got home from work today, to start another job. Hoping for a nice, warm day tomorrow.
Lots of exciting news has been happening today, but I have missed it all. I hope to catch up this evening after I settle down for the night. I even let go of my wish to watch how the voting was coming out when Congress was deciding on the Muslim congress woman's hate tweets about Israel. Friends this is a huge issue, and it seems like the liberal Democrats are going to let her get by with it. God will never allow Israel to be mistreated again, and He even warned what He would do to any nation who went against His people. We are now on the verge of an all out war against defending Israel. Yes, It's very exciting, and troublesome, but we must keep praying, and doing our homework. I can't even laugh anymore at things that normally would be funny. Except a few that my youngest son puts on face book that is unbelievable, but true. His true jokes are so ridiculous that one has to laugh. There's only one Kent like my Kent. “Thank you Jesus.” His wife keeps telling me, he is mine, and she don't know him. Yet she puts up with him in the most loving way I have ever seen a wife love her husband. God has been so good to both of these lovebirds.
Since I'm forfeiting some of my precious television time to writing this blog, I will make it shorter than usual. I was tempted to miss it, but I did not give into that thought. Part of me has to come out every day unless I'm out of town or sick. I would explode If I couldn't release some of my meanness. It's my way of saying I love you, and hope you love me too.

"Even The Birds Have Business To Attend To"
Look who's ruling the roost today. Mr. Big Bird himself. 3-6-2019 Perryton, TX
I was amazed this morning
to look out my kitchen window and see just one bird in the entire
tree. Usually there are at least 10 or 12 all of the same breed
seated close together. It appears that this Tree Chairman has
canceled the Tree Hearing for today. Is it strange that I would have
a thought like this? Not after for over two years now I have sit in
front of the television and watched hearing after hearing on some of
the most ridiculous conflicts ever heard before in Congress. It's all
been about the Democrats wanting to force our elected President out
of the White House. They can't find any good reason to do that, but
they will never give up. They know for sure if President Trump keeps
being successful with his agenda, they will be the losing party from
now on.
The most fearful thing that these Democrats are fighting the hardest against is securing our borders so no more illegals can come into our country without proper vetting. The only way the Democrats have been elected into an office for many yeas is because of illegals, who illegally vote for them. President Trump is now bringing that unlawful situation to an abrupt stop. For the Democrats this means shoot to kill. They know they are in serious danger of losing their evil election practices, and they are loading for bear. They also know that they have not hit the bull's eye once since President Trump has been the President. How can a blind person hit the target? They can shoot, but they cannot hit. Eventually they have to put down their weapons. I hope this happens before millions are killed while fighting a civil war. I truly believe that we, the Christians, are safe on the side of the Holy Spirit. The bible tells us that evil is not fighting against flesh, and blood, but against the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 6:12. KJV. I still am determined to watch, and pray, for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of Man cometh.
I am spending the day at home today because I felt like I must stay tuned into this devastating news which is now a hearing between the Secretary of State, Kirstjen Nielson, and Congress. The liberal left is demanding that she prove there is a crisis at the border. The facts declaring that claim are overwhelming, but the blinded, rather nervous enemies of America, are fighting for anything they can think of, to impeach the winning President of this Great Country called, “America.” God expects you, and I, to fight for our President even though He, God, is in control. We cannot say, “soul take thy rest,” when blood is still being shed. I can eat, drink, and be merry after the war is over. This day is the day of the Lords. I will honor Him with my undivided attention.

"Smoothing Out The Deep Ruts"
Grading the alley behind my house. 3-5-2019 Perryton, TX
A big part of yesterday,
and today, a large grader has been working on the alley behind my
house. It was in bad need of being graded. Deep ruts, and potholes
were making it hard to travel down the alley. I do appreciate how
serious our city takes our allies into consideration. It helps make
our homes look more manicured behind our back yard fences. All
residents mow a large strip of grass behind those fences, that meet
the edge of the alley road. Proud neighbors keep the alley's free of
clutter. Only the trash dumpsters are lined along the backyard
fences.
We have had another nice day today, and I am feeling much better. I hope the flu season is over in our community. It has really been bad. Even those who had the shots still took the flu. A few people here in my own community developed pneumonia from the flu virus, and didn't get over it. The virus just keep lingering on, even when it looked like one might be over it, it kept coming back. I'm thankful for the mercy of God who kept me from becoming real sick. By mostly staying in the house I was able to stay out of bed. I only went to the doctor once. I didn't feel like doing my house work, or writing my blog for several days off, and on, but I felt like watching television. I heard most of the news at least four or five times, which it began to get on my nerves.
Hopefully I will be going to the Center tomorrow for lunch. It has been over two weeks since I have been. I went a couple of times between the flu break, but then I was missing again with the same cause. I have a lot of catching up to do at my favorite places of chatting, and eating good food. I have been made to realize just how blessed I have been to be part of a great crowd of friends, and feeling like laughing, and telling funny jokes. Maybe I will be more serious now that I have had to be for almost two months. I still think God wants us to be happy, and enjoy life. We don't have to leave God out of our lives for Him to call us out sometimes, and prepare us for a special job he wants us to do. He would not call us to do a job that He hadn't prepared us for. And as everyone knows all new endeavors require special training. It may be tough, but He does not put more on us than we are able to bear. I may not want to give up some pf my treasured life styles, but I will do whatever God leads me to do. I quote, “When God closes one door He opens another.” What may seem like a crazy trade off for me, could end up being the best thing that ever happened to me. The door hasn't been closed yet, because I think God is letting me make that choice. I am waiting for the positive answer which I am know for requiring.
