"Does Anyone Realize Yet What Has Happened"

Where has everybody gone? Sixty some apartments but few occupants. At least who can pay their rent.  4-17-2020 Perryton, TX

This sixty some odd apartment complex was built in Perryton, Texas just a few years ago. It is an upscale, high rent apartment addition, built for people who were needed to work in the oil industry which had boomed, but had no place to live. The contractor who built these apartments was guaranteed by the city to not lose any money if things died down. Now with the price of oil going down more every day there is few oil related jobs left here. When these apartments were built the price of oil was $60 a barrel. Ochiltree county had a large resource of underground crude, and it was a great advantage for the county to produce it. The price of oil stayed up for quite some time, but when the country shut down because of the corona virus, it has dropped to $18 a barrel as of today, 4-17-2020. People have had to move out of these apartments, and the ones who still live there, their cars can be seen parked there in the middle of the day. Two or three large motels were added to the up grade, and several business were built to take care of extra business that had evolved.

People are very worried that this terrible plague that has been put upon us will never be lifted. Some of us are trying to stay positive, but those who read their bibles know it may never get better because of the awful sin that man had flooded the nation with. Yes, we have had bad things happen to us before, and things did come back, but never has the entire world been affected with a deadly virus that so far has no known cure, or prevention. This could possibly be the death of the great world God created, and He has been tested for the last time. If you haven't already I would advise you to denounce every sinful act you have committed, and plead the mercy of God. People just must realize that God is real, He is alive, and He will not let ungodly people continue to live in His original Land of Paradise. Too many people have made a mockery out of God, and it is time for them to pay up. I will say that no man is perfect, and God knows who makes mistakes but does ask Him for forgiveness when they are not even aware of their mistakes. It is those who seem to not care what God thinks, and try to become greater than He that will suffer the most. All I can say is wait no longer to join with the Christians to trust God for mercy, and forgiveness. Ignorance will not get you excused for your sins. Everyone has had the chance to speak to God about their deeds. He will never fail to give them guidelines, and wisdom. It is a personal thing, and not what someone else may tell you. No one knows your heart but God.

God Bless
