"Just A Listening In The Rain"

Patio couch at Kent and Angela's house. The patio is covered but the sides are open. They sit out when its raining but not a drop of rain gets on the patio, Amazing! 7-22-2015 Perryton, Texas.

I am wishing for my son’s patio this morning. It is raining nicely, and the air smells so fresh, but my patio leaks, and wind blows rain in. As you can see in the picture I posted, Angela has cloth cushions on the patio couch and rugs on the floor. It is a lovely place to sit out and relax. The night before we arrived an eight inch rain had fallen during evening hours. Kent and Angela sit on the patio while the rain poured down. That has something to say about the architecture of the building. Its more than sitting under a big umbrella. I do enjoy my patio though. The top is covered, and the sides are partly enclosed with metal siding. Screen wire finishes enclosing the top part of the entire patio. It is comfortable except when its raining.

I am trying to keep up with all the news while doing my other duties also. There is a lot to stay on top of. Each day brings us new challenges, and leaves us in wonder much of the time. We are always learning of how something in past times was accomplished, and what bearing it might have on us today. We certainly need to pick our leaders accordingly to what they have been in the past. I believe the past will always catch up with the person who thought it would remain in the past. I’m glad my parents taught me that very early in life. We all know that God has always known our past, but little did some of us know that He would make it known to others. I believe all of us have sins that we hope never get discovered in this life, but the fact that we ourselves know about them is reason to feel defeated, and depressed  much of the time. The more we confess our sins to God, the more we can be free of guilt. If we never admit, and confess, then we cannot expect to find peace and happiness. It is those who are always trying to confess others sins for them, leaving their own unconfused, that get punished the hardest. When it comes to examining a persons life who is being advocated by a serious vote of nominators, I believe it is then that the public needs to get involved as a juror. No one should sustain from that duty. God commanded all of us to be judges of persons seeking high-up offices. We either will be judged ourselves for being a good juror or a bad one. Even if you abstain you will still be judged. There is no place in this life for people to feel scott-free from accepting responsibilities, period. A sentence is awaiting to be read to you. It is time for some to pick up the pieces and start putting them back together. You know who you are. No one has to tell you.

This is my message for today. Take it or leave it. Just remember God is still looking down and don’t miss any misconduct on anyone of His children.

God Bless
Myrtle Jean Sharp
