I worked in my flower bed for two and one-half hours this morning. Tomorrow is Sunday so I will finish the rest of the bed Monday. I didn’t like much, but it got too hot to work any longer. When I am finished there won’t be one blade of grass, or one weed of any kind still standing. My flower bed is a big part of my back yard. It requires lot’s of work, but I like it a lot.
I have to say I am a little tired as I get ready for the widowed men and women’s meeting this evening. I had planned to attend the square dance club after the singles meeting was over. I am not sure now if I will be up tp it or not. I dressed for it, but that is not a sign I have to go. I just have to explain to the widowed group why I dressed this way. I probably will go, but just watch the dancers,
I am making this blog a short one since I just have a few minutes left before I have to leave. Hope everyone has a nice, fun 4th of July week-end. I will not be going anywhere till Tuesday, the 4th. A friend and I plan to go to the lake for a mini picnic.
