What interesting signs of God’s great and mighty power I was privileged to watch this morning. The news is all about earthly power trying to take over everything God created, but I was just reminded this morning that God’s
power is still the greatest. The clouds can look awfully dark, but the sun cannot be hid for long. I watched the clouds this morning moving faster than a jet. When I saw a beautiful picture in the sky before I could focus my camera on it a cloud covered it up. God’s camera was much faster than mine, and He was running in full speed. A million thoughts ran through my mind, but none that could explain the greatness of Almighty God. I saw a streak of white smoke from a jet going through the fast-moving clouds, and I thought “I am so glad I am not on that one.” I am waiting to be loaded onto an invisible jet that will fly non-stop straight into heaven. Until that time I will continue to be as active for God as I possibly can. I love to live and let live. I never like seeing anyone depressed and wishing constantly for some relief, even if it means death. I bear some of the pain I see with anyone in that condition.
I was reading news last night where a councilor from Tecamachalo, Mexico has recommended giving all the homeless people lethal injections as there is getting to be more and more all the time. She says there is no way to handle the situation any longer. She also said many hospitals are already giving unofficial lethal injections to many they treat. All I can say is these people who get the death shot are getting released from their hell on earth, but what about their eternal life. The councilor said she believes it is in the best interest of the homeless to put them to death. I have shared this link on face book. I am overwhelmed by this unbelievable method suggested for moving on with the modern conveniences so many people enjoy while others have never had a real opportunity to be a part of it.
I am thinking now of the scripture Matthew 25: 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungered, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw thee an hungered, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall He say unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. I know ye not.
I know most of us has no idea of how hard it is to deal with the multitudes of underprivileged, but I also believe a lot of us has contributed to the fact that there are so many homeless in the world today. Something I believe, we need to search our own souls about now. Let us pray for forgiveness if we feel convicted of anything we may have caused someone to be living in deep depression, and hopelessness today.
